Who I am today: Wife * Daughter * Sister * Cousin * Friend * Expatriate living in Japan * Attorney currently taking a break from the practice of law.
How I got there: In early 2008 I moved from Northern California back home to Honolulu (where I was born and raised) where I was fortunate enough to be able to practice law at one of the top law firms in Hawaii. In 2009 I met the love of my life and in 2011 we packed up our 1 bedroom apartment and moved to Yokosuka, Japan. Call me crazy, but living abroad is something I've always wanted to do, and so far it's going great!
What this blog is about: I started this blog at the urging of my good friend Annie. Although she brought up the idea months ago, it's taken me that long to get the courage to actually do it. My intention is for this blog to primarily be a means for my friends and family to keep up with what's going on with Rich and I for the remainder of our time here, but if I pick up new friends along the way, the more the merrier!!
